Lowe’s Helps Support Christian School’s Auction

OSWEGO, NY – The list of items for the Oswego Community Christian School’s third annual auction continues to grow as the school, in conjunction with Lowe’s in Oswego, has added a gas grill to the list of items available at the event.

The state-of-the-art grill is self-cleaning and features an auto shut off.

The gas grill is just one of the many items that will be available at the school’s auction to be held May 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Armory on West First Street.

The action, which serves as a fundraiser for the school, will feature a silent auction from 1 to 3 p.m. and a live auction from 3 to 5 p.m.

Some of the many items that will be available include: an automobile from Burritt Motors in Oswego; a four-pack of Disney World Park-Hopper Passes; a one-night stay, including a $50 gift card towards dinner for two, at Geneva on the Lake; an Oswego Speedway Classic Weekend Package; two event tickets to Creation Festival 2010 in Mount Union, Pa.; a one-night stay at Serendipity Bed & Breakfast in Oswego; plus gift cards from Sun Seekers Tanning, Bracy’s Transmission Service, a number area restaurants and much more.

The event will also include the Oswego Community Christian School’s annual prize drawing.

For a donation of only $10 individuals will have the opportunity to win one of three great prizes including a grand prize of either a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise for two adults or a $1,000 Visa Card, winner’s choice; a second prize of a 40-inch LCD flat screen television; and a third prize of either a $250 gas or grocery card, winner’s choice.

Food and refreshments will be available, including the Oswego Community Christian School’s famous chicken barbecue from 1 p.m. until sold out.

All proceeds from this event will be used for the continued improvement of the quality of education offered to the students at OCCS.
