OSWEGO, NY – The first Scott Davis Memorial Volleyball Tournament will be held on Sept. 18 at the outdoor volleyball court at Cheap Seats in Oswego.
Cost to enter is $100 per team with proceeds going to the Danny Davis Trust Fund.
Cheap Seats will donate 20% of their proceeds toward the cause.
There is still room for a few more teams.
Games will start at 10 a.m.
“Scott was a much loved and respected 14-year veteran of the Oswego Fire Department who passed away suddenly on Father’s Day of this year. He had a passion for the game of volleyball and not only enjoyed playing himself but watching competitive volleyball action,” said Firefighter/Paramedic Eric Mills, chairman of the event.
