FULTON, NY – National Grid has signed on as a Silver Level sponsor for OCO’s “Giving Thanks” fundraiser.

To event will be held Nov. 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Lake Ontario Convention, Event and Conference Center in Oswego.
Proceeds from “Giving Thanks” will be used in support of OCO’s “Sleep Tight” initiative to purchase safe, hygienic bedding for children in need.
“Our goal with the ‘Sleep Tight’ initiative is threefold: to provide funds for staff and client education, to purchase equipment for sanitizing and extermination, and buy and maintain bedding supplies that are protected from infestation,” said OCO Executive Director Diane Cooper-Currier. “We need to be proactive in stopping the spread of insect pests like bed bugs, which are no longer merely a ‘big city’ problem and are now spreading across Central New York.”
“National Grid proudly supports OCO and the wonderful community work they do each and every day. This ‘Giving Thanks’ event is just another opportunity for us to partner with OCO in the community we all work and live in. We hope people join us in making this event impactful to help respond to critical needs in our community,” said National Grid Customer and Community Jurisdictional Manager, Walter Dengos.
Tickets to OCO’s “Giving Thanks” celebration are $30 per person and include food, refreshments and beer and wine tastings.
