National Nursing Home Week Concludes In Style at Michaud with Carnival Day Celebrations

FULTON – Residents, staff, family, friends and volunteers had a great time wrapping up this year’s National Nursing Home Week celebrations at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton with a Carnival Day event.

Residents, staff, family, friends and volunteers at Michaud Residential Health Services had a great time wrapping up this year’s National Nursing Home Week with a Carnival Day event featuring all the favorites you would expect to find at your local carnival, right down to the cotton candy, balloon popping contest, and much more! Michaud’s Carnival Day featured all the favorites you would expect to find, right down to the cotton candy and balloon popping contest!

Those attending enjoyed a great variety of foods and entertainment, even a caricaturist was on hand to draw likenesses of festival goers. And staff dressed up and played the part of some familiar carnival characters.

The event was part of a week-long celebration that included a unique and fun theme for each day during National Nursing Home Week.

The only regret residents had was that the celebration comes but once a year.
