Nature of Montezuma Lecture: NYS Purple Martin Project

On June 9  from 2-3:30 p.m., the Montezuma Audubon Center is pleased to welcome Rick Marx from the New York State Purple Martin Project for a lecture and monitoring activity.

The New York State Purple Martin Project is a collaborative effort of partners educating citizens in the conservation of Purple Martins, with the goal of increasing the declining Purple Martin populations throughout New York State.

Following an informative presentation, Marx will demonstrate how to monitor Purple Martins housing units.
