Novelis Supported United Way At Taste Of Oswego

OSWEGO, NY – Representatives from Novelis Oswego Works were on hand at Taste of Oswego to help raise funds in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Annual Campaign.

Ice-cold water, soda in aluminum cans and a variety of snacks were available at the Novelis tent.

In addition they held a raffle for a gift basket, which was won by Dick Delaney and a 50/50 raffle won by John Jackson.

“It was great afternoon,” said Delaney of Novelis. “Hundreds of people came out for Taste of Oswego and many of them were happy to purchase water and soda to support the efforts of their United Way.”

According to Carol Dillabough, Novelis’ appearance at Taste of Oswego was the beginning of the company’s internal campaign in support of the United Way.

“Novelis Oswego Works is ‘united’ as a team for the purpose of reaching our goal for the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Annual Campaign. Our internal United Way team Live United with the same goals and objectives of the United Way. Our Novelis United Way team was happy to get a jump-start on our campaign as we raised approximately $650 at the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Oswego,” said Dillabough.
