The play will be directed by Sherri Metz.

The play has roles for seven men and three women.

“Fools” tells the story of Leon Tolchinsky who arrives in a Russian village to teach, only to discover that the town lives under a curse of stupidity.

The 200-year-old curse renders everyone exceedingly stupid, but Tolchinsky is convinced he can break the curse.

The play will be presented on July 8, 9, 15, 16 and 17.

Auditions are open to anyone interested in performing with the Oswego Players.

“Fools” is being presented by special arrangements with Samuel French, Inc.
