OSWEGO – At its annual meeting in June, Operation Oswego County presented its 2012 Business Excellence Award to Huhtamaki.
The company was cited for demonstrating adaptation and growth in a competitive business environment, for its commitment to invest in extensive printing capabilities, both Flexographic and Lithographic, to produce quality paper cups, containers and lids for the frozen dessert and food service industries and for employing more than 600 people in Fulton, making it the seventh largest private employer in Oswego County.

Too bad this place will be closed in about 3-4 years. OOC always seems to cite businesses that are known to be leaving the state. This award is the final nail in the coffin. Watch and see.
