OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Bookmobile visits neighborhoods throughout the city of Oswego, Scriba and town of Oswego during the seven-week Driving Books Home summer program.

At our regular programming stops, our dedicated staff helps children identify their reading level and find books that excite them at their reading level.
Children receive a free book and a healthy snack at each visit.
Oswego Bookmobile also gives a free gently loved book to children who visit during our special event appearances at Oswego Farmers’ Market, Harborfest Children’s Park and Movies in the Park nights.
Oswego Bookmobile is in need of new and “like new” children’s books.
We invite you to bring your book donations to our Giving Day Book Drive on May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St Joseph’s Church Hall, 240 W. First St.
This will be a “giving” day, not a “taking” day, where you can drop off new or “like new” children’s books.
Donation receipts will be available.
Donated books must be in “like new” condition:
• No yellowed, curling, torn or dog-eared pages
• No writing or scribbling in them
• No odor or stains
• Books should be written for children ages 2 through young adult.
