Emmons has strong labor support and has also received the endorsement of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 73, the International Union of Engineers Local 158 and the Central and Norther New York Building and Construction Trades.

“This endorsement acknowledges Nate’s interests in the issues affecting all the hard working men and women in the city of Oswego,” said Jim Jackson of the Oswego Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO.

The endormsement came as a part of Emmons’ opposition to Proposal 1 on the New York State ballot on November 7, on whether or not to hold a Constitutional Convention

“This particular endorsement is quite fulfilling as my father is a retiree from the New York State Police. Like so many families in our community, unions gave my family as I grew up the opportunity to live a better life and for my father to have a secure retirement. I am thankful for the support of the hardworking men and women the Labor Council represents. I look forward to continuing to work with the Labor Council to support and protect middle class jobs and the taxpayers of Oswego County,” said Emmons.

Emmons is running with the endorsement of the Republican, Conservative, and Independence parties.
