Oswego Conservatives Back Ritchie for Senate

The Oswego County Conservative Party voted to endorse Patty Ritchie for State Senate, following its meeting in Volney Friday night. Ritchie appeared at the meeting, spoke and answered questions for the group.

“Everywhere I go throughout the 48th Senate District, I hear the message that state government has stopped working for the people, and that we urgently need to cut taxes, create jobs and restore common sense to Albany,” said Ritchie.

“As State Senator, representing Oswego, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties, I will fight for Upstate, Northern and Central New York, and use my experience as County Clerk to rebuild our trust in state government, and make sure that Albany once again works for us.”

“I want to thank the Oswego County Conservative Party, and chairman Lenny Schick, for the confidence and support you have shown in my ability to get the job done.”

Ritchie has already won endorsements from the Oswego County GOP, the St. Lawrence County Conservatives and the Republican Party’s Executive Committee. She has been endorsed by the chairman of the Jefferson County GOP, which meets next week to consider its full committee endorsement.

Ritchie, who lives in Heuvelton, is currently the St. Lawrence County Clerk. missing or outdated ad config
