Students from the Public Safety and Justice program at Oswego County BOCES (OCB) participated in West Monroe Fire Department’s eighth annual Fire Prevention and Safety Night.
The event involved the cooperation of many local volunteer fire departments, New York State Police, the Oswego County Sheriff’s department, and other local emergency response teams to provide live demonstrations and fun activities focusing on safety and fire prevention.
Students from OCB were at the event providing free child identification cards to parents and aiding the Sheriff’s department with the Operation SAFE CHILD program.

Great write up. It’s a nice reminder to everyone especially with winter on the way.
