OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee presented Timothy Conners with a certificate of recognition for his many accomplishments in the face of adversity.
At an early age, the Fulton native was diagnosed with cancer; which eventually took his eyesight before he reached remission.

Conners now fundraises for the organizations that helped to save his life, so that others might have the same opportunity to live a boundless life.
Most recently, he made a 53-hour sightless climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, over the course of nine days.
Conners continues to be a source of inspiration in the community through his optimism, strength, and perseverance.
