Oswego County Opportunities Welcomes New Employees

FULTON, NY – Oswego County Opportunities, one of the top 10 largest private employers in Oswego County, has announced that nine new staff members have recently completed OCO’s orientation process and will begin to service consumers in their respective programs.

OCO’s orientation acclimates new employees with the history, mission, and vision of the agency. “OCO is dedicated to providing our new employees with the tools, guidance, and atmosphere they need to thrive and continue to grow as a productive employee,” said Jo-Lyn Phillips of OCO. “We pride ourselves in our workforce and offer employees every opportunity to excel in their positions so they are able to provide our consumers with the best service possible.”

Phillips added that OCO’s monthly orientation sessions offer in-depth information on the structure, programming and history of OCO. “In addition to thorough training on mandated items such as HIPAA confidentiality, diversity and Right-to-Know, we have discussions about expectations, as well as, growth and training opportunities and how to pursue them. Our orientation session is a full day of training and information that will allow our new employees to build a successful career at OCO,” said Phillips.
