Oswego County Proclaims National Runaway Prevention Month

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee presented a proclamation to Oswego County Opportunities, Inc., designating November as National Runaway Prevention Month.

Each year there are between 1 and 3 million homeless or runaway youths in the United States.

Working together, communities can raise awareness about this issue and limit its occurrence by empowering families and providing necessary supports.
