Oswego Health is pleased to support Fulton’s 29th Annual Memorial Day Salute sponsoring the Children’s Stage starring the Magic of Virgil and to celebrate the first year of its Urgent Care Center in Fulton. Since it opened on April 27, 2009, more than 17,000 patient visits have been made at the facility. In addition, more than 19,000 laboratory draws, and more than 20,000 medical images have been provided to community members.

Oswego Health recently announced plans to transform the facility to offer the community urgent care and outpatient services in more comfortable surroundings with private patient areas. The renovated facility will be known as the Fulton Medical Center. Once construction is completed in late 2011, it will feature an urgent care center with nine private patient rooms, all with state-of-the-art medical technology.

The new medical imaging department will feature an area dedicated to women’s health that offers digital mammography, ultrasound and bone density services. Nearby will be a lab with three draw stations.

While construction is under way, the urgent care center, as well as lab and medical imaging departments, will remain open to serve the community.
