The Oswego City School District Board of Education recognized the elementary Battle of the Books winners at recent board meeting.
The third and fourth team and fifth and sixth trio earned a berth in the county wide competition with the younger students capturing the county title.
From left to right are Ava Cloonan and Gretchen Dowd (5-6) while the 3-4 team included Harrison Zuber, Gavin Mills and Anna Cloonan.
In back are Board of Education President Kathleen Allen, 5-6 coach Cathy Kelly along with 3-4 coach Kathy Manion and Superintendent of Schools Ben Halsey.
Absent from the ceremony was Kyle Familo.
