OSWEGO, NY – On Thursday, Oct. 23, the Oswego Sunrise Rotary, learned about changes in tax laws.

Michelle Strong a community relations coordinator traveled 100 miles this morning to address the Sunrise Rotary Club.
She explained changes in tax laws that effect, business, parents, home owners and volunteers.
Requirements for recording business mileage have changed.
New regulations about tax benefits for weatherproofing your home will continue in 2009.
Less stringent rules may effect charitable contributions.
A spirited question and answer period followed Strong’s presentation.
