Participants Attend Barclay’s Summer Reading Celebration at Oswego Library

OSWEGO – Assemblyman Will Barclay recently held his Summer Reading Challenge reward party at the Oswego Public Library.

About 80 kids from the 120th Assembly district participated in the Summer Reading Challenge this year.

They read for at least 15 minutes for 40 days during July and August.

About 30 readers attended the party with their family members.

All participants were awarded certificates and a prize, had the opportunity to make a craft, have snacks and heard a story.
