Individuals in the Oswego County area who are interested in becoming pet therapy certified by PAWS of CNY should apply at pawsofcny.org/apply.

Qualified applicants will be scheduled for an evaluation performed by a PAWS of CNY evaluator who assesses the pet on established criteria of temperament, basic obedience and the volunteer’s handler skills.

PAWS of CNY has been providing regular pet therapy services to nursing homes, schools and colleges, libraries, and at community events in Oswego for more than a decade.
