OSWEGO, NY – Peeps go to the movies, a Justin Peeper concert, peeps playing sports and numerous other peeper activities were highlighted recently at the Fitzhugh Park Elementary School in Oswego.
Fifth grade students had a unique project which allowed them to prove their creativity.
Teachers Katie Canale, Judy Dixon and Ed Fayette coordinated the project.
Canale said, “The students conducted Peeps Projects.” They were asked to create a project using marshmallow Peeps to show their creativity and have some fun.”
The projects were then placed into a school-wide contest, with each student being asked to come and view the Peeps projects and place their vote for their favorite.
Eventually the top three were selected.
Skylar Trapasso presented a Justin Peeber Concert for first place while the second place winner was Nick Searor as his Peeps participated in the ever popular X-Games.
Gaven Kemp recreated the movie “Hop” and fittingly the peeps were all presented and accounted for.
Canale noted, “The kids did a great job and we are all very proud of their work.”
