Phoenix Summer Concert Series Receives Funding

The town of Schroeppel and village of Phoenix are pleased to announce that the recently submitted “Music in the Park” and “Friday Nights of Fun” grants for the summer concert series in Phoenix have been approved for partial funding – $500 and $500, respectively, through the NYS Council on the Arts Decentralization Program with the support of Governor Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.

The program is administered locally by CNY Arts.

The summer concerts are also sponsored by the town of Schroeppel, village of Phoenix, Phoenix Public Library, Fulton Savings Bank and several other community organizations and individuals.

A full schedule of concerts is planned again for the summer of 2017.

The goal for all involved is to enhance a greater appreciation of the arts and cultural vibrancy of the area.

This is done by promoting, supporting and celebrating arts and culture locally.
