Players Cast ‘Hound’

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Players director Troy Pepper has finished casting for his October production of “Hound of the Baskervilles” by Tim Kelly, based on the famous mystery by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Pepper has a mixed cast of veterans and newcomers.

The role of Sherlock Holmes will be undertaken by Peter Mahan, with D.J. Russell as his well-known advisor and foil, Dr.  Watson.

Key characters include Kelly Mahan as Lady Agatha, Tammy Wilkinson as Kathy Stapleton and Bobby Fontana as Sir Henry, heir to the Baskerville estate.

Supporting actors are Beverly Murtha and Steve Standish as the loyal but secretive Berrymores, Erin Chetney as Perkins, the maid, and Quinn Etchie as the mysterious Laura Lyons.

Norman Berlin III will play the dark and suspicious Jack.

Ken Snow, always ready to fill a void, appears briefly as the gardener, Selden.

The story and play of “Hound” has thrilled audiences over the years.

The show will be presented at the Fort Ontario Arts Center Oct. 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee on Oct. 17 at 2 p.m.
