Pulaski Businesses Unite To Bring First-Ever Halloween Parade To Life

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Village of Pulaski is set to celebrate the spooky season in style with its first-ever Halloween Parade, taking place in rain or shine at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 18.

The parade is the brainchild of Anna Jerome, owner of Dye and Curl Up Salon, who has been dreaming up the event for years. Along with a dedicated committee of local businesswomen, Jerome brought her vision to life, combining a shared love of Halloween with a deep pride in their community.

“We’re a group of women who wanted to rekindle the spirit of Halloween while creating a memorable celebration,” Jerome said. “Pulaski is such a wonderful place for kids to grow up, and I want to make this holiday truly special for them.”

Additional members of the parade committee include Christa Rice, owner of Reel Nutrition; Jenn King, manager of Frightmare Farms Haunted Scream Park; Jessica Loomis and Jen Taylor, owners of Two Broke Moms; Jessica Sorell, owner of Jovial Photography and representative for Starz Dance Movement; and Samantha Parker, member of the Ringgold Fire Company.

The parade will kick off at the Pulaski Boylston Snowmobile Club on Route 11 and make its way through the village, ending at the Ringgold Fire Company on Lake Street.

With over 70 participating businesses and individuals, spectators can expect a festive lineup featuring dogs and horses in costume, haunted houses, classic movie and horror tributes and even dancing along the parade route.

Immediately following the parade, families are invited to a kid-friendly after-party at the Ringgold Fire Company. The celebration is a fundraiser for Starz Dance Movement, a local dance company, that will include food, games, crafts and face painting. Admission and dancing are free, with food and activity tickets available for purchase.

This new annual tradition promises to become a fall favorite, uniting Pulaski in community spirit and a touch of Halloween magic.
