FULTON – Oswego County Opportunities is proud to announce that the Pulaski Family Welcome Center has officially been designated as a Lactation Friendly space for both the public and as the center’s employees. The Pulaski Family Welcome Center is located at Selkirk Landing (10 Bella Road) in Pulaski, New York. The Lactation Friendly designations come from the Oswego County Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding, and Lactation Friendly New York (BFFNY) program.
This dual certification as both a Workplace and Public Space recognizes the center’s commitment to supporting local families and its own workforce. By combining accessible public accommodations with supportive employee practices, the facility addresses a critical link in promoting maternal health and long-term family well-being.
In earning these designations, the Pulaski Family Welcome Center ensures that visiting guests and returning employees alike have access to a dedicated, comfortable, and private area for infant feeding, along with the organizational support needed to continue their lactation journey.
The BFFNY program works to create supportive environments for lactation throughout Oswego County. To learn how your business can support families through certification, visit www.oco.org/services/health/bffny or email [email protected]. This project is supported with funds from the State of New York.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of Oswego County Opportunities.
