Music students from Pulaski Middle/Senior High School traveled to the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse for a very special musical treat.
The chorus students in grades 7-12 attended a performance of the critically acclaimed Broadway show “War Horse.”
Called an “imaginative epic,” the Broadway spectacular featured masterful puppetry and superb acting that told the story of a young man and his horse, Joey. The story follows Joey who is separated from his loving owner when he is sold as a cavalry horse during World War I.
Young Albert, the horse’s owner, searches throughout France for his beloved horse amidst the turmoil of World War I.
The play is based on the book of the same name by Michael Morpugo.
Famous Artists, the group who brings the productions to the Landmark, provided the Pulaski music department with a block of tickets which were offered to the students on a first-come, first-served basis.
