SANDY CREEK, NY – The Sandy Creek cross-country team will hold a Cross the Creek 3K/5K Color Run on October 2.

The event will take place on the Sandy Creek High School cross-country trails, 124 Salisbury St., Sandy Creek.

The color run is open to everyone, and the event features an untimed family-friendly fun run with 3K and 5K course options.

Throughout the course, participants will experience color splash zones where they will be doused in color, and at the end of the course participants can take part in a final color toss celebration.

Registration includes a race bib, color packet, and T-shirt for those who sign up by Sept. 18.

Participants can pick up their race-day packets at check in which starts at 8:30 a.m. and the run/walk begins at 10 a.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sandy Creek cross-country team.
