The Oswego County Republican Committee voted Thursday night to endorse Patty Ritchie for State Senate. The vote came at the county GOP’s monthly meeting, held at the Greenview Manor restaurant in West Monroe.
“I am very grateful for the warm reception and support that I have received from Oswego County Republicans, and now, for their official endorsement,†said Ritchie.
“Committee members have promised to work hard to help bring our message of change, common sense and accountability directly to the voters, and I have pledged to work just as hard both as their candidate, and as the new State Senator from the 48th Senate District,†Ritchie said.
For weeks, Ritchie has been meeting with committee members, community leaders and voters as she walked door-to-door in communities throughout Oswego County.
In addition to Oswego County Republicans, Ritchie has been endorsed by the GOP chairs of all three counties that comprise the 48th Senate District—Jefferson, Oswego and St. Lawrence—St. Lawrence County Conservatives, and the Executive Committee of the St. Lawrence County Republican Committee.
Ritchie currently serves as the County Clerk of St. Lawrence County. She lives with her family in Heuvelton.
