OSWEGO – Sonia Robinson, public health educator for the Oswego County Health Department, presented a program to Rotary Club members on lyme disease, tick removal and tick identification.

Robinson said that Lyme disease rates have gone up dramatically in Oswego County as well as Onondaga County.
She offered suggestions for keeping ticks out of your yard, avoiding tick bites and what to do if you find a tick on your body or pets.
