FULTON – Rotarian William Rasbeck presented an oversized check in the amount of $500 to Madden Rowlee.
She will use the money toward her freshman year expenses at Clarkson University.
Each of the next three years that Rowlee is at Clarkson, she will receive a scholarship check in the amount of $500 for a total of $2,000.
Rowlee is this year’s recipient of the Sylvia and Sandy Squires Scholarship given by the Fulton Noon Rotary Club.
Students at Fulton High School must have earned 4 letters in a sports activity and be in the top 25% of their class to qualify for the Squires Scholarship.
The Rotarians wished Rowlee well in her studies.
