Rotarians Hear About Services to Aid Families Program

FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia introduced Sara Carmichael from the Oswego County Opportunities Services to Aid Families program.

She explained how SAF seeks to assist and empower victims of physical, sexual and emotional violence, as well as mobilize a coordinated community-wide response to those issues.

They offer many services, one of them being a SAF house that offers shelter to individuals and their children in a domestic violence situation.

They have many support groups that offer counseling, transitional housing, advice and guidance.
