Rotarians Hear About Urgent Care Expansion Plans

Oswego Health’s Public Relations Manager, Marion Ciciarelli, left, presented a program at a recent Fulton Rotary Club meeting. Oswego Health announced earlier this month that they had received a $17 million grant to refurbish the former Fulton Hospital into an Urgent Care Center. On the first floor, the former patient rooms will become the Urgent Care area, while the rest of the floor will become an enhanced Xray, MRI, laboratory, and service area. The basement level will give the facility a new kitchen to service the adjacent nursing home, laundry and physical therapy area. The present Urgent Care Center has handled over 20,000 patients during its first year. Program Chair, Rotarian Betty Fadden, right, introduced Ms. Ciciarelli.
