Rotarians Learn About SNAP, Food Sense

She talked about two local food programs – SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Food Sense.

Both programs focus on helping individuals have sufficient food to feed
themselves and their families.

While SNAP is income based, Food Sense is a cooperative that works with local farmers and helps stretch the food-buying dollar.
