OSWEGO – The Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club recently welcomed Patrick Dewine, executive director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Dewine discussed the United Way’s role as a reputable and reliable steward of charitable giving.
The United Way is the source of funding for much-needed human service programs in Oswego County and collaborates to present day-of-giving events for partnering agencies.
The United Way also serves as as advocate for local consumers.
The United Way is involved in supporting countless local programs, including but not limited to: Local food pantries, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Catholic Youth Organizations, YMCA Programs, Stuff-a-Bus and education and advocacy for independent living.
