Save Energy, Save Dollars Workshop Planned

HANNIBAL – Stop throwing your money down the drain or out an electrical outlet. The Save Energy, Save Dollars workshop will teach low-cost and no-cost ways to save energy and reduce energy bills.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County is leading this energy-savings workshop, which is sponsored by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and developed by Cornell Cooperative Extension and NYSERDA.

Program participants receive a kit of energy-saving items to take home and put to use immediately.

The Save Energy, Save Dollars workshop is free and open to the public.

Advance registration is requested by 4 p.m. March 6 to ensure there are enough energy-saving kits for everyone.

Save Energy, Save Dollars will be offered on March 8, from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the Hannibal Community Senior Center, downstairs from the Hannibal Public Library, 162 Oswego St., Hannibal.
