State Senator Patty Ritchie met with a group of Oswego area school superintendents recently to discuss the impact of New York State’s school aid formula on rural low wealth school districts.
“Over the past few months I have met with the governor’s top education advisors to make them aware of how the state’s aid formula disproportionately impacts the schools I represent,” Senator Ritchie said. “I am hopeful that as we develop this year’s budget, I’ll be able to work with the Assembly and the governor to come up with a bipartisan solution to make sure our children get the kind of education they need.”
