‘Simplify, Simplify’ Is Theme of Senior Camping at Camp Hollis, Sept. 10 and 11

OSWEGO – Camp Hollis will be keeping it simple on Sept. 10 and 11 at the annual Senior Camping program for people 50 years young and older.

This year’s theme is “Simplify, Simplify.”

Visitors should plan to enjoy nature programs, hikes, arts and crafts, sports, bingo, dancing, a bonfire, guest speakers, sing-a-longs, and great food.

This summer marks the 22nd year that the Oswego County children’s camp on Lake Ontario has hosted a senior camping program.

Guests have three options this year:

Sept. 10, 9 a.m. through Sept. 11, 3 p.m. Overnight accommodations include cabins with electricity, running water, and bathroom facilities, $20 registration fee;

Choose Sept. 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Sept.11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or attend both days with a $10 daily fee;

Or Sept. 10 only, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., $12.50 registration fee.
