OSWEGO, NY – The Queen of Hearts, Harry Potter, Willy Wonka and many more storybook characters were recently seen wandering the halls of the Fitzhugh Park Elementary School.
The FPS Student Council decided to coordinate reading and fun with “Storybook Character Day.â€Â
Students were asked to dress up as their favorite storybook character and then write a paragraph about what it was like to be that character.
Students proved to be quite creative and enjoyed the event.
The Grinch (Allison Rogers), Darth Vader (Jeffery Fragale) and Fancy Nancy (Hannah Holland) gathered with the Queen of Hearts (Linda McFall) as they were just four of the participants in this colorful and exciting event.
