OSWEGO – Students from the SUNY Oswego Adopt-A-Grandparent Program hosted a “Casino Night” for residents at St. Luke Health Services.

The evening featured a variety of games of chance, ranging from casino favorites like Roulette, Black Jack, and Keno to name a few.
Adopt-A-Grandparent Program students acting as the dealers ran the games and music by KTC Entertainment, made for a special evening.
Prizes were provided through St. Luke’s “Don’t Stop Wishing” Program. Top “Jackpot” winners received themed gift baskets and gift cards.
“We are fortunate to have had such a dedicated bunch of students from the college who came and took part in a wide variety of activities with our residents over the course of the past school year,” said Diane Garcia, assistant director of activities and St. Luke. “Our residents really enjoyed the chance to work together, and have fun with the students A lot of friendships were formed. This is a great way to keep our folks connected with their community and a wonderful service opportunity for students from SUNY Oswego to learn from our residents.”
