OSWEGO — SUNY Oswego’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence will launch the CEO Retreat on Feb. 23, the center’s first offering at the Metro Center in downtown Syracuse.

The retreat, which will meet 8 a.m. to noon every other month through December, focuses on topics for CEOs and other upper managers, including the state of nonprofits today, the board-CEO relationship, fundraising and development, organizational and public relations, succession planning, finance, coaching and mentoring.

Participants also will conduct research on current nonprofit management issues and present to their peers. Local experts comprise the faculty for the program.

The retreat sessions — Feb. 23, April 27, June 22, Aug. 24, Oct. 26 and Dec. 7 — will be in the Metro Center at the Atrium on Clinton Square. For more information, contact program coordinator Jeffrey Grimshaw at [email protected] or 312-3492.
