OSWEGO — The national Certified Health Education Specialist certification examination will be administered at 8:30 a.m. Oct.19 at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center in the Atrium in downtown Syracuse’s Clinton Square.
The three-hour exam is a competency-based tool used to measure possession, application and interpretation of knowledge for health education specialists.
There is a discounted fee of $280 for registration by Aug. 1.
Registration between Aug. 1 and Sept. 1 is $330.
There is an additional discount for full-time students.
