At a recent Fulton Noon Rotary Club meeting, the awards were announced for this year’s Sylvia and Sandy Squires Scholarships.  The Sylvia and Sandy Squires scholarship is awarded to a student attending college for four years.  This year’s winner was Kristen Kush.  Bill Rasbeck introduced Ken Avery, Fulton City School Athletic Director, who introduced the four current Sandy and Sylvia Squires Scholarship Recipients.  Each student talked a little about himself or herself.

Bill Rasbeck retired Superintendent of Schools, who introduced the program.

The membership applauded these fine student and their accomplishments and then Ken finished with an update on the school’s building project, which includes improving the athletic facilities.  Expected date of completion if all goes well should be late fall 2009.
