Taste of Oswego Set Aug. 29

OSWEGO, NY – The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Taste of Oswego, sponsored by Alliance Bank, will be held Aug. 29, from noon to 6 p.m.

Taste of Oswego offers an afternoon of great food, live music with Jimmy D & The Jury at noon and The Billionaires at 3 p.m., and fun for the whole family as more than a dozen of Oswego County’s finest eateries serve up $1 samples, as well as other menu items.

There will also be a special “Power for Kids” tent for the children sponsored by Novelis, NRG, Entergy, and Constellation featuring a variety of children’s activities such as air hops, sno-cones and much more, plus a special appearance by the world renowned Bubble Man.

The event takes place behind the Econolodge / GS Steamers on East First Stret.

    (They just wanted this caption to serve as a reminder. The half dozen or so other chamber press releases did say down behind GS Steamer, I believe. – Steve)
