FULTON, NY – The United Way of Greater Oswego County is offering interested business and organizations the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being a Team Plus Sponsor at the United Way’s 15th Annual Golf Classic.
A new edition to this year’s event, Team Plus Sponsorship includes a number of value added benefits that provides participating sponsors with not only increased visibility during the event but additional bonuses after the tournament as well.
In addition to registration for a full team of four golfers, which includes a continental breakfast, a United Way Golf Classic golf shirt, golf cart, 18 holes of golf, lunch, beverages on the course, a steak dinner buffet following the tournament and the Capture Action Video, which film’s each golfer’s swing during the tournament.
The video allows golfers to see their swing matched against their choice of professional golfers.
The video will show both swings simultaneously so they may compare their swing to the professional.
Team Plus Sponsors will also receive:
- One tee sponsor sign at the team’s tee box
- Sponsor name listed on the official rules sheet and table cards at the dinner following the event
- 25 ‘Good any day’ Grounds Credentials tickets to the Turning Stone Resort Championship, an official PGA Tour Event to be held Aug. 2 – 8.
Bill Carhart of the Oswego County Federal Credit Union sees participation in the United Way Golf Classic as an excellent way to assist the agency in its mission.

A limited number of Team Plus Sponsorships are still available at a first come, first served basis.
The cost for a Team Plus Sponsorship is only $1,000 and includes all the above-mentioned benefits.
The United Way’s 15th Annual Golf Classic will be held July 9 at the Greenview Country Club in West Monroe.
Major plus sponsors for the event include: Entergy, Constellation Energy Nuclear Group Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, and Burritt Motors; National Grid and Novelis are major sponsors.
There will be plenty of giveaways and prizes, with each golfer being eligible for, longest drive and closest to the pin prizes.
Interested golfers will also have the opportunity to sign up for the skins contest and purchase tickets to the Turning Stone Resort Classic, Aug. 2 through 8.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the United Way through the Upstate New York Empowerment Fund.
Entry fees are still just $100 per person or $400 per team.
