THE OSWEGO NETWORK OF ENTREPRENEURS ANNOUNCES ITS MISSION

The Oswego Network of Entrepreneurs met today to discuss its mission in the Oswego business community.  The Oswego Network of Entrepreneurs also known as the ONE group was developed to help new entrepreneurs network and learn from more experienced entrepreneurs and each other in a nurturing environment.  The group has been functioning for many years and recently made the decision to fine tune its mission.

The mission of the ONE group is to:
Network to support, promote and educate local entrepreneurs.

All local entrepreneurs new or established are welcome to join the ONE group to support this mission.  We learn about each other’s businesses and the community by having members host a ONE meeting at their place of business, whenever possible.  This allows the entrepreneur to talk about their business and also to ask questions of others or get feedback about their business from others in the group through friendly and interactive discussion.  It is also an excellent opportunity to learn about other businesses and community efforts and sometimes brainstorm solutions to various issues of operating a small business.

Our next meeting will be hosted by John Fitzgibbons at the Fitzgibbons Agency, 35 E First Street on Wednesday, January 27th, 8:00am – 9:00am.  Our prime topic for this week will be about using new technology for communication – including blogging and the soon to be released Oswego Community Calendar.
