The Triple-D (Derby, Down & Dirty) tournament taking place in Oswego during Harborfest weekend has announced the bout line up. The women’s roller derby action starts with the Oz Roller Girls of Oswego taking on the Rockin’ Rural Roller Girls of Franklinville, NY, at noon on Friday July 29. All events are being held at the Crisafulli Arena on East 9th Street which is on the Harborfest trolley line. The Triple-D (Derby, Down & Dirty) tournament will be featuring skaters from the Albany All Stars, the Black River Rollers of Watertown, the Enchanted Mountain Roller Derby of Olean, the Ithaca League of Women Rollers’ Bluestockings, and the Southern Tier Savages Roller Derby of Franklinville. In addition to these New York teams, skaters from the Poison Pixies Roller Derby and the Mad Missfits of New Hampshire will be participating.
The announced schedule of bouts is as follows:
Friday (7/29):
12:00 — Oz Roller Girls vs Rockin Rural Roller Girls
3:00 — Poison Pixies vs Team Triple-D-Licious (BBRD, EMRD, STSRD)
Saturday (7/30):
11:45 — Bout #1 Winning Team vs Albany All Stars
1:30 — Bout #2 Winning Team vs Ithaca Bluestockings
3:15 — Consolation Bout to determine 5th and 6th place finishers
Sunday (7/31):
11:00 — Semifinal Bout to determine 3rd and 4th place finishers
12:45 — Championship Bout to determine 1st and 2nd place finishers.
