Channel 9 has a Hidden History segment on the TV. One feature is the oldest church in Volney, the Bristol Hill Church and its involvement in the Underground Railroad.

The story is told by pastors Jim and Andrew Hinman with documents, artifacts and photos.
The Bristol Hill Church is now listed on New York’s Underground Railroad Heritage Trail, as well as New York State’s and National Register of Historic Places and the National Park Service’s Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.
