OSWEGO, NY – Jo-Lyn Phillips and Stephanie Langdon of Oswego County Opportunities were honored during at the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Annual Meeting held March 17 at the American Foundry.
The two were hailed for their roles as co-coordinators of OCO’s employee campaign in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
Presented annually, the Company Campaign Coordinator of the Year Award is given to the coordinator whose dedication, enthusiasm, and creativity contribute go well above and beyond what is expected contributing to the success of their company campaign.
“Jo-Lyn and Stephanie were innovative in their approach to reach all OCO employees. In this year’s campaign they provided a trophy to the division that had the highest percentage of giving. We are pleased to recognize them for their outstanding efforts†said Jonathan Daniels, chair of the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Campaign Cabinet.
Phillips accepted the award and acknowledged OCO’s workforce for the generous response to the campaign.
“OCO is happy to run an employee campaign as part of the United Way’s fund drive and I am pleased to be able to accept this award on behalf OCO’s employees. This award really symbolizes the good work and generosity of our employees. That we were able to not only meet but also surpass our goal given the state of the economy speaks volumes about our employees and the care and concern that have for our community. OCO definitely has the finest workforce in the county and Stephanie and I are happy to share the award with them,†said Phillips.
