FULTON, NY – The Fulton City School District is ready to help your 4-year-old embark on his or her educational journey within Fulton schools.
While the 2017-18 school year has just begun, the district still has Universal Pre-Kindergarten slots available.
District officials are eager to help your child focus on language development and social skills in order to prepare Fulton’s youngest students for kindergarten.
Morning and afternoon programs are offered in partnership with Oswego County Opportunities, the Fulton YMCA, First Step Universal Pre-K and Pinnacle and are held at each FCSD elementary school: Volney, Granby, Fairgrieve and Lanigan.
Eligible children must turn four years of age on or before Dec. 1.
Registration is available from 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays by visiting the Fulton Education Center, 167 S. Fourth St., Fulton.
Parents and/or guardians are required to bring the following information: an original birth certificate (with raised seal), the child’s up-to-date immunization record and proof of residency.
Contact the school district’s Central Registrar’s office at 315-593-5513 for more information.
The UPK program is solely funded through a grant from the New York State Education Department and is available to families in the Fulton community at no cost.
