Visit the Holiday Farmers Market Saturday, December 4

Mark your calendar to visit the Holiday Farmers Market Saturday, December 4, from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Mexico VFW on State Route 3 just north of the Village of Mexico, sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County.

The following locally raised and produced products will be available: Ashley Lyn Wine, Snow Valley Honey, Mountain Ash Elk meats, Colosse Cheese, Dancing Goat Farm meats and goat milk soap, Salmon River Alpaca fiber products (such as hats, mittens and scarves), Dylan Sorbello’s potatoes, NY Bold onions, Fruit Valley Orchard apples, holly balls, rose hips, jams, Heritage Hill maple syrup, eggs, Fowler’s squash and wreaths.  In addition:

  • Santa Claus will be visiting between 10 am and 12 Noon.
  • Cooking demonstrations using products from the market, will take place at 10 am and 12 pm, by Mark Damon of Maines and Tom Pizzuto of The Greenside Restaurant.

  1. ANOTHER fabulous local event. Keep up the great work getting the word out that shopping locally isn’t just good for the community, but a savings in money and ecology (far less fuel polluting the atmosphere our kids will be breathing)!
